Salary: From £10.42 per hour + tips

Expected Hours: 30 – 40 per week

  • Opening and locking the building, cash handling, stock take, and banking.
  • Customer service, ensuring high standards of food and beverage service.
  • Making rotas, managing leave requests, and covering shifts.
  • Team meetings, target setting, organization.
  • Recruiting and training new staff.

Night Porter

  • Hardworking and reliable professional sought for a Part-Time Night Porter role.
  • Night shifts: 12am-7am Sunday to Thursday, 1am-9am Friday and Saturday, including holiday cover.
  • Wages meet national minimum wage.

Job Type: Part-time Hours: 21 – 28 per week

Main duties:

  • Setting up and clearing down bar, function room, and restaurant area.
  • Ensuring security and safety of hotel and guests.
  • Completing daily cleaning tasks.
  • Handling guest requests and answering the telephone out of hours.

Ideal candidate:

  • Previous hotel experience preferred (but not essential).
  • High level of customer service and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and cover holidays.
